Bryan Christiansen
Chief Operating Officer

Bryan Christiansen is Chief Operating Officer at Vivint Solar, a leading full-service residential solar integrator. He brings almost two decades of high-level strategic leadership and on-the-ground tactical experience to his current role.

Prior to joining Vivint Solar, Bryan was Vice President of Operations for Vivint Internet, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vivint Smart Home, which provides internet service to consumers in select Utah and Texas markets. Prior to leading Vivint Smart Home’s internet operations, he served as Vivint’s Vice President of Operational Improvement reporting directly to the firm’s Chief Operating Officer.

Before joining Vivint, Bryan was a Managing Director and Senior Vice President at Xerox where he ran a portfolio of 4 businesses in the government healthcare space. In this position, he was responsible for all aspects of the businesses including P&L management, sales, service delivery, and client management. He joined Xerox in 2010 as a key member of the Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) / Xerox acquisition integration team. Prior to working at Xerox, he was a Senior Vice President at ACS running a business in ACS’s Financial Services Group. Bryan has also worked as the Vice President of Operational Strategy for 3 different lines of business at ACS.

Early in his career, Bryan was a Boston-based strategy consultant with Monitor Group. While at Monitor, he gained a wealth of experience developing and implementing growth and turn-around strategies for Fortune 500 clients in the financial services, retail, pharmaceutical, health insurance, and heavy manufacturing industries. Over the years, he has worked in the United States, Great Britain, Mexico, and Europe.

Bryan was a founding board member at Navigator Pointe Academy (NPA), a Utah K-9 public charter school, and served as the school’s board chairman for over 11 years. Under his watch, NPA raised over $5M in bonds, received the highest S&P bond rating of any charter school in Utah (investment grade, BBB), and was recognized as the 2015 Utah Charter School of the Year. Bryan has also served as a member of the executive committee for the non-profit consulting group Inspire, Inc.

Bryan received his bachelor’s degree in business management, emphasis in international finance, from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Duke University.
